Choose Volumes

In Quick Scan mode File Scavenger quickly reads the beginning and end of the drive to look for volumes and partitions. Volumes are displayed followed by partitions whose volume information cannot be determined. You can double-click (or right-click and choose Properties) on a volume to display more information. For an unknown partition you can also set the file system format and settings of the partition and save them for scanning.

You can use the right-click command Add to specify additional volumes not detected by the program. Note that this command is internal to the program. It makes no changes to the actual drives.

Alternatively, you can select Long Scan to search all volumes. In Long Scan this dialog is not required.
