Resume a disk copy session
|
|
A disk copy session can be interrupted intentionally, such as when you click on "Stop" to stop the program. The operation can also be halted when Disk Recoup hangs while reading the faulty drive or when the faulty drive goes offline unexpectedly.
Upon restarting Disk Recoup will automatically display the settings from the interrupted session for your convenience. You can simply click on "Copy" to resume the copy operation.
You can also manually restore the settings from a previous session. If the destination of the operation is a dedicated hard drive, click on "Browse" to browse to and select the session file created when the operation was initiated. If the destination is a disk-image file, click on "Browse" to browse to and select the disk-image file.
See Time and patience for information about resumption of work.
